International Relations

International Relations (IR) is the study and practice of the interactions between sovereign states and other global actors, such as international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and multinational corporations. It encompasses the analysis of political, economic, and social relationships on a global scale, addressing issues such as diplomacy, conflict, trade, international law, and human rights. The field examines how countries interact with one another, the factors that influence these interactions, the roles of power and authority, and the impact of global events on national and international policies. Scholars and practitioners in international relations use various theories and frameworks to understand and explain the complexities of global affairs and to propose solutions to international problems.
