Argentina

Argentina is a country located in the southeastern part of South America. It is the eighth-largest country in the world by area and the second-largest in South America, after Brazil. Argentina is bordered by Bolivia and Paraguay to the north, Brazil to the northeast, the Atlantic Ocean to the east, Uruguay to the southeast, and Chile to the west. The capital city is Buenos Aires, which is also the largest city in the country.

Argentina is known for its diverse geography, which includes the Andes mountain range to the west, fertile plains known as the Pampas, and the subpolar regions of Tierra del Fuego in the south. The country has a rich cultural heritage influenced by a mix of indigenous, Spanish, and Italian traditions, which is evident in its music, dance (notably tango), and cuisine.

Spanish is the official language, and the country is known for its strong agricultural sector, particularly in beef production and wine, especially Malbec. Argentina has a parliamentary democracy and is a member of several international organizations, including the United Nations, the G20, and Mercosur.
